Hours Appointment times are carefully scheduled to maximize the success of your child's visit. We give each child plenty of time for the type of visit they need. Quality can never be rushed. Younger children are fresher and more likely to cooperate for visits in the morning. For a restorative visit, even older children need a morning appointment. Most children do well with an afternoon appointment for their checkup and cleaning visits. We appreciate how difficult scheduling can be for families. Remember that routine preventive visits, and timely treatment of cavities results in fewer appointments overall. When restorative appointments are postponed, pain might result and your appointment scheduling flexibility will be reduced if there is the need for an emergency visit. Safety is very important to us! We practice strict infection control. We are proud of our sterilization center and our A-Dec clean water system. If you would like to see our sterilizers, we are more than happy to show them to you! Be assured that your child will be in safe hands. We have earned a certificate from the Oregon Dental Association for environmentally responsible dental office practices. We use environment-friendly disposal practices and recycle our paper, glass and plastic (if possible). We pride ourselves on our environmental awareness. Radiographs play an important role in the diagnosis of dental/oral disease. Sometimes parents are surprised to learn how young, and how often, children need x-rays taken of their teeth. Children's teeth are much more cavity prone and cavities get larger faster in children's teeth than adult's teeth. Also, fewer teeth mean fewer films need to be taken, and current x-ray technology allows for very low-dose and high film speed. This means that the necessary radiographs can be taken safely. We accept most insurance plans and will bill your insurance for you. Please remember that insurance companies only assist in payment and rarely cover everything in full. Our fees are not based on the insurance industry's widely varied fee schedules. You will be responsible for any part that your insurance does not cover and your portion will be collected at the time of service. We accept cash, personal check, Visa and MasterCard.
